A separate brand for companies and clubs, next to a shop for personal gifts.

Starting point

Dingsify is our own project and the sister brand of kosdecor. Both work with laser engraving and 3D printing. kosdecor sells engraved gifts and decor to private customers through a shop. Dingsify is for companies, clubs and workshops that need a one-off piece or a small batch and often have no finished file yet, just a photo, a sketch or two sentences. That calls for a good enquiry, not a shopping cart.

What we built

• A lean static website built with Astro: a home page, one page each for laser engraving and 3D printing, contact and the enquiry. Common questions sit right on the pages where they come up. No shop system, because there is nothing off the shelf to buy.
• A guided enquiry in four steps: what, for whom, details, contact. The form asks for material, quantity, deadline and files right away. Coming from a service page, the matching service is already selected. A hidden field keeps spam out instead of a captcha.
• Typical requests instead of a product catalogue: an anniversary sign, an award for club members, the missing spare part, a custom mount. Each one says who it is typical for and leads straight into the enquiry.
• No tracking and no third-party services. Everything loads from the site's own domain and no cookies are set, so there is no need for a cookie banner. The organisation and the FAQ are marked up as structured data.

Result

Companies and clubs get their own address and their own tone, separate from the gift shop, and an enquiry that brings along from the start what a quote needs.
